POP Champagne and Dessert Bar

I've been wanting to try POP Champagne Bar for some time now. I mean, what girl doesn't love a little  bubbly, right?!

POP has happy hour Tuesday - Sunday from 5-7pm and offers $5 wine (including sparkling) and $4 mimosas and bellinis. If you aren't in the mood for wine, there are three great craft beers for only $4.

 
For food, POP offers "Beginning Bites" for 20% off. Eh. Not the greatest deal. Plus I like to see food items that are more substantial because I substitute happy hour for dinner.

Complimentary Bread and Truffle Butter

Mmmm... loved it!

Trio of Deviled Eggs $5.60

They were good but too pricey.

Brie Toast with Chardonnay Soaked Raisins $4.80

I was the only one at my table that liked it,

but I only had a few bites because it was pretty sweet.

Wild Mushrooms and Goat Cheese Bruschetta $5.60

The mushrooms were good

but there wasn't a lot of goat cheese

Popcorn Chicken $6.40

-breaded with corn chips and panko crumbs

served with maple Dijon

And since we were at a Dessert Bar, a friend ordered a souffle.

POP Champagne Bar is a cute place, but I wouldn't call it a great happy hour find. Bummer.
