Pink Taco

Have you ever gone to a happy hour that you just didn't want to leave? We did last week at Pink Taco. When some friends invited me there, I was a little skeptical because I had heard it was sort of in a mall. Eh... it wasn't really. At least you don't feel like you are. Just check out the picture above. We sat out on the patio along the palm trees. And I say hell!! Go get drunk and then go see a movie to sober up. But that's just me. ;)

Pink Taco's happy hour is Monday - Friday from 3-7pm and offers half off drinks and $6 appetizers.

So let's start off with my favorite part of happy hour... the drinks. The drink selection is definitely good and they are half off.

Here's what you can get:
Margaritas and mojitos - $4.50-5.50
Wells - $3.50-$4.50
All beers - around $3
All wine - around $4-5

Good prices, right!?  I, of course, had to try their margarita. Since I'm known to like a good cocktail (or five), I was a bit skeptical but they were really good. Well done, Pink Taco! Not only were they good, but they were really big. For $5 you can get a margarita or mojito in a huge glass. And after two margaritas, I was shocked how buzzed I was. My favorite margarita was the Pink Taco original, but I also liked the Raspberry Mojito.

For food, Pink Taco offers 6 different appetizers for $6. Check out the pic above for the full list. We've tried everything but the Queso Dip and my favorites were the chicken skewers and the sweet corn tamales. I LOVED THE TAMALES! And you got three tamales in one order. Nice.

So what did I love about Pink Taco??? Well, I'm a sucker for a good patio with good music. Throw in some strong margaritas and you've got yourself one happy Vixen. Unfortunately we just went back this Monday when it was 113 degrees so we didn't want to sit on the patio but I took some pics for you to see! But the first time I went it was pretty packed. We also sat at one of the communal tables, which is great for meeting new people... IF you know what I mean. ;)

So if you are a Westsider, you should check this place out. It's definitely a cool place to meet up with a large group of friends and have some large margaritas!!
