Okay, it's final here... my review on The Den of Hollywood. It's definitely way over due because the Den has become one of my regular happy hour places. And since I'm always trying to go to different happy hours, being a repeat customer is a pretty big compliment. But it's deserved.
I've been to The Den a bunch of times, so I've tried a lot of the food and have taken lots of pictures. 231 to be exact. Seriously. Normally it's around 15-50 pictures, but I've been here a lot for both happy hour and their brunch. Let's start with happy hour.

Their happy hour for drinks is CRAZY!!! It starts at noon and ends at 7pm everyday! See?? Crazy, right!? It includes well drinks, draft beer, and wine. Happy hour for food is also pretty sweet... 3-7pm daily and all small plates are half off.
If you are a beer drinker, you can get a pint for $2-4. My favorites are the Yellowtail Pale and the Den Honey Blonde. If you go for the wine, there are 8 to choose from (including Sangria) and will run you $3-4. Yes, you read that right! Just $3 or $4!! But if you want something a bit stronger, well drinks will run you $5.

The food for happy hour is half off and so small plates will be $3.50-7.00. And for what you get, it's quite the deal. The Pork Belly Tacos are just $5 and you get FOUR of them. My favorites are the Pork Belly Tacos, the Angry Mac, Deviled Eggs, and the Hot Wings. The only things on the menu I didn't care for were the Bacon and Cheese Doughnut Holes and the Grilled Artichoke. But I know others that love them, so maybe give them a try yourself. The menu below shows the full price for small plates, so it's half off what you see. The only thing maybe missing from this menu is the Trio of Sliders which are $6 at happy hour.

Not only do I go to the Den for happy hour, but you can also find me there on Sundays for brunch. You can get Bottomless Mimosas for $14. Brunch is just not brunch without Bottomless Mimosas. Before going to The Den for brunch, I was a bit skeptical on how the brunch entrees would be. But I had the Eggs Benedict ($12) and LOVED them. We were told that they made their own ham and it was the best ham I have ever had. Now, when they say they "make their own" ham... I'm not sure what that exactly means but we were assured to slaughtering was done on the premises. But whatever they do, they need to keep doing it. It was awesome. My girlfriends got the Breakfast Burrito ($10) and the Breakfast Sandwich ($11) and those were huge.
So if you haven't yet, you must give The Den a try for either happy hour or brunch. They offer great deals and usually have a pretty cool crowd. I recommend sitting n the patio and keep an eye out for me!
Oh... and did I mention they have both hot bartenders AND hot waiters??? One more reason to go!!!
