The Good, the Bad, and the Hungry

Okay, I know what you're thinking... "Is she really making Tequila's in Van Nuys her sixth review?? Really??" Well, there is a bit of history in this place for me.  It's sort of where it all began.  Let me explain. I've been a teacher for 7 years and this was the first place I came with my teacher friends.  Yep. It all started with a beer and a shot.


Tequila's is definitely not a place you would travel far distances for. But when you are looking for a place near work that has tacos for $0.99... well, you go to Tequila's on Tuesday.  Taco Tuesday is definitely the "good" part of this Mexican restaurant. You can get chicken, steak, or carnitas on either a corn or flour tortillas, and they are quite big and quite good. On Tuesdays, you also can get Bud Light drafts for $2 and Margaritas and Pina Coladas for $2.50. And you can get the drinks and tacos ALL DAY! They have their regular happy hour, too, Monday through Friday 4-7pm with good drink and food specials. How's the rest of the food?? Eh.

So what's the bad?? The service. It's like they don't seem interested in your order or your experience... or their tip.  So get your tacos and go!
