Alrighty! It's time to finally hit some happy hours in the Southbay. We thought the best way to start out this venture was with a happy hour crawl. So last week we went to Hermosa Beach and went to Mediterraneo and Sharkeez. We started at Mediterraneo and that place was great, but I deciced to post Sharkeez first because the prices there are just amazing!
Sharkeez happy hour is Monday-Friday from 3-7pm and offers 2-for-1 drinks and tons of food specials that are super cheap! Check 'em out:
And the deals don't stop there. You can get full entrees with rice and beans. You can get three items plus rice and beans for just $3.25. CRAZY CHEAP!
And on Wednesdays you can buy a burger and get All-You-Can-Drink PBR for one hour for just 99 cents! (11am-close)
Although the entree specials sounded awesome, we ordered three items from the top menu:
Lobster Cigars $3.49
served with Picante Pepper Sauce
-Really good, and the sauce was hot!
Sonora Style Quesadilla w/ Chicken $1.75
-can also come with beef. It looks small in the picture but it's a full sized quesadilla and it was really good... a great mix of cheeses.
Grilled Lounge Burger $2.75
-Definitely tasty and I loved that it came with fried onion strings. It's not a huge burger, it was a decent size.
Another great thing is that all the drinks are 2-for-1, so you can get any drink you want!
I went Jameson on the rocks. So I got two Jamesons for $7. ♥ ♥ ♥
Jameson Whiskey on the rocks $3.50
We were definitely happy campers and will be back soon! I just wish their happy hour was also on the weekend. Oh well... it's still a fabulous happy hour.

Wow! I had no idea Sharkeez had such a great deal for HH. Good to know! I used to go to the one in Newport Beach, but only late on weekends and only for drinks. I don't remember if Happy Hour was still in play, but I always found the prices to be pretty good. It would get a bit rowdy in there, but that was okay with me. I like things "lively" every now and then.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see you trekking your way a bit southward, Vix :o)
Yeah... I didn't realize it either because they website doesn't mention the food. Crazy.

Great review. I go there, but still learned more about the place from your blog.
