Vixens' L.A. HAPPY HOURS: 8 1/2 Taverna

**8 1/2 Taverna no longer offers happy hour**

You may or may not know that I live in The Valley and my friend Hanh and I found a great new happy hour at 8 1/2 Taverna in Studio City. The place is cool and the food is mighty tasty!

8 1/2 Tavenra's happy hour is everyday from 4-7pm and offers $5-8 small plates, $6-7 wine and beer cocktails and $1 off draft craft beers (normally $4-9).

Now we just LOVED the food! Here's what we had:

Sliders $6

w/ oven roasted tomato, pesto aioli, and a touch of foie gras

They were small but incredibly good.

I can't to go back and get a full size burger.

Arancini Potato Croquets $6

Mmmm so good! You must get them!

Mini Pizzas $8

For drinks, they offer $1 off drafts and $6-7 wine and beer cocktails.

Oral Sexto $6
Okay, you KNOW with a name like THAT we had to try it.
Sexto Meritage Red Wine, Cranberry Juice, and Sprite

8 1/2 Sunset $6
White wine, pineapple juice, grenadine, and sparkling water
*I preferred the Oral Sexto.

Fire and Ice $7
Allagash Black and Prosecco

They were good, but I was a little bummed that wine wasn't on the happy hour list. Then our friendly bartender said that they carry wine on tap for only $5. My response: "Wha, wait??" Wine on TAP??" Like out of the box???" No, it's not from a box, it's right along side of the draft beers. And it was really good! I'll probably get that that next time I go.
