Okay, so the following post isn't a happy hour but it's amazing thing that everyone needs to know about. Osteria La Buca has gone "pink" to support National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. They even painted their gosh-darn restaurant pink!
I recently heard that Osteria La Buca was donating sales to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, which I thought was fabulous! And then last week friend and PR guy, Dan Cox, and I decided to go indulge on their fantascic food and cocktails. While dining, Dan filled me in that 100% of their sales are going to the Foundation this whole month. Truly amazing!! So if you are headed to dinner and not sure where to go... go to a place that has amazing food and drinks and where you can help breast cancer research.
On our visit I had Bourbon-ade and a Whiskey Sour. Both were delicious!
Buffalo Trace Whiskey, lemon, lime, sugar, and mint
Whiskey, simple syrup, lemon, egg whites
And we dined on Osteria La Buca's amazing pizza! This one had goat cheese, kale, tomatoes, and figs. The mix of the goat cheese and figs were wonderful.
So if you are looking for a place to go to dinner... go to Osteria La Buca. Not only will you have a fabulous dinner but you will be contributing to the fight against breast cancer. And we all love boobies, right!? So let's help save them!
