I'm not a fancy writer... just a girl that likes a good drink.

I'm sad to say that being a booze blogger is not my full time job. Maybe one day that will be possible, but for now it's just a dream. *sighs*  So just like Donna Summer said, I work hard for the money!

That's right!!! I work hard and then play hard! Or would that be drink hard??? Well, whatever if it is, Señor Fred fits my "after work happy hour" needs nicely:
Close to work?  Check!!
Happy hour starts right after work (at 3pm)?  Check!!
My friends like to go there?  Check!!
The prices are good?  Check!!
The food is good?? Check!!
It's a nice atmosphere?  Check!!

Señor Fred's happy hour is Monday - Friday 3-7pm and they also have a late night happy hour Friday and Saturday 11pm - close. Yes, you read that correctly... a late night happy hour on Friday and Saturday. Nice, huh!?  For $5.50, you can get a Classic Margarita, Passion Margarita, Yucatan Sangria, Sour Apple Martini, Classic Mojito, house Cabernet or Chardonnay. Or for $3.50 you can get a selection of beers: Bohemia, Corona, Corona Light, Dos Equips, Pacifico, Sol, and Tecate. I usually go with a margarita, wine, or beer and a shot of Patron. Unfortunately, the shots are not cheap.

 Classic Margarita - $5.50

 Sangria - $5.50

Corona - $3.50
Patron - $10 or $12
(Sorry, I had too many and can't remember... hehehe.)

Señor Fred also offers 5 different small plates for $3.50 each.  I like the Taquitos and the Tingas. The Tingas (tostados) are the best deal because you get two. Some of the other plates are kinda skimpy serving-wise. But the plates below are just $7 and they fill me up.

 Taquitos - $3.50

Tingas - $3.50

One of my favorite things about going to Señor Fred is the seating. It's nice and lounge-y. There is also a nice, little patio in front. It's good if you have four or less people. So if you live in the Valley, Señor Fred is definitely worth checking out.
