Cabo Cantina

Now I haven't heard the best things about Cabo Cantina in the past, but I was willing to try it.  This was a mistake.

We went last Thursday and it was packed and hard to get a seat. I wanted to just sit at the bar and get a drink, but they will only serve you if you are at a table.  Oh well. So we found a table and waited for a waitress.  As we waited, I noticed all the red heat lamps in the place and how I was already hot. The place also had this weird red glow because of them. See how my pictures have a red tint to them? It was the lamps.

As we waited, I looked at the drink menu. Friends know I like a good margarita and I was warned to stay away from the ones at Cabo, so I decided to go with a Bloody Maria (Cabo's version of a Bloody Mary). It's made with Jose Cuervo Tequila, tomato juice, and a splash of lime juice.

Since the drinks are all 2-for-1 and you have to get them at the same time, they just put it in one big glass. How was it? Simply put... it sucked. It didn't even seem like real tomato juice. Check out the picture of it above. I got one measly olive as garnish. No lime, no celery stalk, no pepper. Just a good helping of "suckiness".

With such a crappy drink, we decided not to get any food. We finished our drinks and left.
