Katsuya - Hollywood

Now Katsuya states it has a happy hour. Well, let’s define “happy”. Happy is what patrons are because they feel like they are getting a bargain for their drinks and their food. Well, Katsuya does offer discounted prices from their normal menu, but I wouldn’t really call them a bargain. My friend and I were quite pleased with the food but wished the portions were a bit bigger for the cost.

The drinks I tried were the Katsuya Fresh and the Watermelon Cucumber Refresher. Both were $7 and were quite good. They were each made with muddled cucumbers, vodka, and sake. if I was in the area again, I would definitely go back for these. My friend had the Bellini.

Along with the drinks, the food was quite a treat, too!
-Edamame Hummus. It was different, yet very good. ($7)
-Lobster Dynamite Roll.  The lobster and japanese mayo sauce was very tasty. (4 cut pieces for $7)
-Kobe Beef Slider with garlic aioli sauce - You only get one, but that one is awesome. It  was cooked perfect (nice and  pink) and had a great zing to it. ($7)
-Mini Tuna Tacos - Sushi in a crisp taco shells. Also, a winner! (3 for $7)
-Albacore sushi - Good quality, fresh ($5)
